Sunny comes in different forms for me.

From a Bible verse…

to some pretty wildflowers I noticed while riding down the road…

and a conversation with a new customer who was cheerful and full of life.

Sunny, such a good word!

Yesterday I saw a tire cover on the back of a jeep that read “life is good”.  Then today, a bookmark I used had the words “count your blessings”.  It is very apparent to me that no matter the day you’re having, if you look around, you will find something good.

For instance, if it’s hot and muggy and you see dark storm clouds brewing, you know there’s bound to be rain soon and hopefully a reprieve in the heat.

Or you notice it’s getting dark outside and you step out and catch a beautiful sunset.

Often times I get up in the morning after having a restless night.  I sit down for my quiet time in prayer and bible study and a lot of times after I lift my head from prayer I look out the window in front of me and see the dew glistening on the grass.  Peace… in that moment complete peace is what I find.

So look for something good each day.   The way you see things directs your way.

How do you stay positive?

This too, shall pass

It’s been a few days since I last wrote.  Hope this finds you doing well.

This week has been moving both slow and fast… have you ever had a week like that?

Some days dragging along with no energy to speed it up, others so energized that sleep doesn’t come… next thing I know it’s close the week’s end.

2 Corinthians 4: 17-18For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Each morning I begin my day in prayer and in Bible study and that is the only thing that has been constant for me this week.  Everything else has just kind of took place at the back burner and I’ve just kind of made it through the week, breathing and not moving much.

Today, was a better day, though my head is still a little stuffy from congestion.

So, how has your week been?

In Many Ways

Many great ways to end May and start June,

from the morning dew,

to flowers in bloom.

As my camera focuses, I spot a wasp,

crawling on my car in a loss,

so I snap a shot or two or more,

many of God’s creation, I adore.

Beautiful wildflowers in the ditches I see,

Carolina Larkspur, Queen Anne’s Lace,

Showy Evening Primrose and Tickseed.

In many ways I see His presence each day.

He is ever with me, come what may.
